SUPERSIL SILICONE COATED E GLASS KNITTED TAPE

Commonly called Fire Tape, Pyrotape or Firesleeve Tape.
E Glass knitted tape covered with a thick layer of high grade red silicone elastomer rubber.
It will offer continuous operating temperatures of 250°C in optimum conditions and can withstand a molten metal splash at 1200°C.
Resistant to most oils, hydraulic fluids, most fuels, acids and alkalis.
The red colour is due to the high content of iron oxide.
